Step 1:
Coaching Agreement
This Coaching Agreement ("Agreement") is between you, referred to as "the Client," and Murray Bingham, referred to as "the Coach." We mutually agree to the following terms:
1. What is Coaching?
Coaching is a collaborative and voluntary process designed to be forward-focused. The Coach is dedicated to supporting the Client in achieving goals, resolving issues, fostering professional development, and reaching elevated performance levels.
2. Roles and Responsibilities:
a. The Coach:
Shall not act as the Client’s advocate or representative.
Will refrain from passing judgment on the Client’s behaviour or the behaviour of individuals mentioned by the Client.
b. The Client:
Agrees to willingly and honestly share relevant information to the extent of their comfort, aiming to achieve their goals.
Commits to providing feedback about the effectiveness of the coaching dynamic.
3. Confidentiality:
The Coach agrees to maintain complete confidentiality about coaching session content, except:
The Client provides express permission.
The Client discloses intentions to harm themselves or others.
Information is required for statistical purposes on an anonymous basis.
Disclosure is mandated by law.
The Coach needs to defend themselves against a complaint, in which case only information relevant to the substance of the complaint may be disclosed.
4. The Coaching Period & Fees:
The Client acknowledges and agrees to the previously discussed and mutually established number of coaching sessions/timeframe and the agreed-upon payment method.
5. Termination:
Either party may terminate the coaching relationship at any time. In the event of termination, both the Coach and the Client commit to providing an explanation to facilitate closure.
6. Booking & Cancellations:
The Coach and Client will collaborate to schedule mutually convenient meeting times. In the event of rescheduling, timely notification (at least 24 hours in advance) will be given by the Client or the Coach.
7. Referrals:
Should the Coach determine that the Client’s needs surpass the Coach's skillset, a discussion may be initiated regarding potential referrals to other qualified professionals, ensuring the Client receives the most suitable support to meet their goals.
